How cancellations work.
Short version: cancel anytime, keep Pro through the end of the period you paid for, then drop back to Standard. If something genuinely went wrong, email us — we'll make it right.
Standard mode (free)
Standard mode is free with shared AI rate limits. There's nothing to refund — you can stop using PathNav at any time and there's no charge to reverse.
Bring-your-own-keys (free from PathNav)
PathNav doesn't charge for BYO Keys. The cost you pay is whatever your AI provider (Anthropic, Groq, Cerebras, Mistral, SambaNova) bills you directly. Refunds for AI usage are between you and that provider — we don't have access to or control over their billing.
Pro subscription cancellation
You can cancel your Pro subscription any time from Dashboard → Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation is handled through Stripe's hosted portal.
When you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account drops back to Standard automatically — your data stays exactly as it was.
We don't charge a cancellation fee and we don't bill you again after the period ends.
Refunds for Pro
If something goes wrong — a charge you didn't intend, a feature that didn't work the way we promised, a bug that materially blocked you — email hello@pathnav.ai within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund you.
Outside that window, we don't issue refunds for unused time on a paid period, but we'll always honor the cancellation rule above so you're not charged again.
Annual plan refunds: if you cancel within 14 days of your annual purchase and haven't used Pro features extensively, we'll refund the full annual amount. After that, the same end-of-period rule applies — you keep Pro access through the year you paid for, then drop back to Standard.
Failed payments
If a Pro renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry a few times over several days. If it still doesn't go through, we drop your account back to Standard and email you. You don't owe us anything for time you didn't get to use.
Account deletion
Deleting your account immediately ends any active subscription with no further charges. We don't pro-rate a refund automatically on deletion — if you want a refund along with deletion, email us before you delete and we'll handle both at once.

Before disputing a charge with your bank, please email hello@pathnav.ai — most issues get resolved faster (and without your account being suspended) when we hear from you first.
